First entering the fashion industry while studying at the Tama Art University in Tokyo, Mihara Yasuhiro’s unique taste and design quickly struck the eyes of many thanks to his modern and innovative style. What once was solely shoes, Yasuhiro’s label ‘Miharayasuhiro’ soon became a household name in the Japanese avant-garde fashion scene. Yasuhiro’s pieces are known to have heavy inspiration from progressive rock bands such as Pink Floyd and boast elements of Americana, cinema, and militaristic design.
