When it comes to graphic designs, Junya Watanabe’s Spring/Summer 2003 Menswear collection is one of the first to come to mind. This season was filled with unique graphics pulling from a plethora of references such as surfing and tropical imagery to Rastafarian & biker culture. Watanabe paired these designs with a range of assorted fabrics and patterns ranging from floral, mixed plaids, leathers & more resulting in an eclectic collection of garments unlike anything else.
Here we have a unique knit sweater from Junya Watanabe’s Spring/Summer 2003 Ready-to-Wear Menswear collection. This piece features a unique Free Rider biker screen-print along the chest of a 100% woven cotton garment that includes a raw hem design along the cuffs and bottom hem. This piece is lightweight making it perfect for the Spring/Summer!
