These are the words from the founder of ATTACHMENT, explaining the ideology and meaning of the label's name, expressing how garments are simply an “attachment” to oneself. Born in 1965, Kazuyuki Kumagai has always been around clothing and fashion as a whole. After climbing the ranks for many years, Kumagai became an assistant designer at Issey Miyake from 1990-1995, where he would hone the vital skills of creating an innovative brand.
