Here we have an accessory item from Kapital’s “Kountry” line. Established in 2010, Kountry focuses on various fabric dyeing and washing techniques. Kapital Kountry is most known for reworking existing Kapital pieces to imbue a one-of-a-kind sense of authenticity.
This pouch is crafted by using an old Japanese patchwork method known as Sashiko Boro. Originally used by farmers, Boro in Japanese originally means merely the piece of torn & dirty fabric. Sashiko, on the other hand, is the art of repeatedly stitching these torn and dirty fabrics together. Due to the freestyle nature of this form of needlework, every Kapital Kountry Boro piece presents its own story and is one-of-a-kind.
