Undercover x Hysteric Glamour for Kishidan Seditionaries Tee – 2006

In 2006 Hysteric Glamour and Jun Takahashi of Undercover collaborated with the Japanese Punk Band Kishidan for a collection of band tee’s that are heavily influenced by some of the graphics by the infamous Seditionaries label that was sold and designed in the SEX boutique by Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren in 1974-1976. These early designs are considered by many to be the birthplace of the London Punk style and Grunge as a whole.

Here we have a 100% cotton tee that pays homage to Seditionaries original “Gay Cowboys” graphic from Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren’s infamous SEX boutique designs. This timeless piece shows both Undercover and Hysteric Glamour’s extensive influence from the early Punk Rock scene and the Grunge aesthetic.
