Junya Watanabe’s Fall 2016 menswear collection mainly focuses on outerwear but also displayed stunning tops such as the one above. This collection is heavily influenced by militaristic design and the use of multi-fabric patchwork detailing which Watanabe has been praised for since the beginning. The garments from this collection are presented through a multiplicity of fabrication and boast slender cuts that are minimally detailed.

Here we have a button-up shirt from Junya Watanabe’s AD2016 menswear collection. This garment features various fabric patterns such as floral on the upper arms, grey pinstripe on the lower arms, a plain black body, and compact plaid on the inside of the shirt. This piece also features a unique silhouette of a woman screen-printed on the left chest of the garment which compliments the wide range of aesthetics this piece presents.
