Number (N)ine’s Autumn/Winter 2002 collection entitled “Nowhere Man” is heavily inspired by English musician & lead guitarist of the Beatles, George Harrison. The collection's name is derived from one of the Beatles hit songs “Nowhere Man” off their 1965 album Rubber Soul. Praised by many as Number (N)ine’s best collection in terms of quality, unique use of design, and aesthetic cohesion overall, Takahiro Miyashita experiments with chocolate and ivory colors, fine materials, and references the Bohemian nomadic lifestyle fused with that signature Number (N)ine cowboy flare we see time and time again.
Here we have an incredible t-shirt from Number (N)ine’s Autumn/Winter 2002 collection. This piece features an eye-catching Nordic tribal guitar 1964 graphic which references the year the Beatles came to America and undeniably the beginning of their worldwide takeover.
