Here we have an eye-catching pair of denim from the Japanese brand PPFM. This pair of 5-pocket blue jeans from 2003 boasts a pinkish hue that is elegantly faded with age and is complemented by a straight/somewhat baggy fit. What makes this piece stand out is the high-quality embroidery on both the left leg and back-right pocket, as well as the printed text below the knee. Using the scarce amount of information found online, I believe these jeans reference the Japanese superhero show Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, part of the long-running Super Sentai metaseries which later received a popular American adaption known as Power Rangers. Whether this is true or not is up to speculation, pretty neat nonetheless!
