Here we have yet another stunning piece from Tete Homme. Like many of the garments from the Japanese label; this denim jacket is packed with details. To start off, the denim consists of coarse, twilled cotton known as “Hickory” – A distinctive striped fabric that is said to originate from the wives of railroad workers and is known to be durable, but breathable. This piece also boasts elements of Americana such as the bronze buttons which are stamped with stars and stripes. Lastly, we see instances of reconstruction such as a lone uneven chest pocket and the “XXX” motif which is established by using six hickory striped belt loops. This denim jacket by Tete Homme is eye-catching thanks to its unique details and can be worn during all seasons.
