Collection: Undercover
One of the many Harajuku fashion imprints, UNDERCOVER was founded by Jun Takahashi in 1993. Takahashi studied Fashion Design at the Bunka Academy Of Fashion in Tokyo. Even before he graduated in 1991, he had started up the label and was designing clothes for his friends. In 1993, he opened his "Nowhere" store with his longtime friend and business partner Nigo (BAPE), in 1994 he put on his first runway show, and in 1995 participated in Tokyo Fashion Week. Undercover made its debut at Paris Fashion Week in October 2002 for its Spring/Summer 2003 collection. The label has always been driven by the motto, “We Make Noise, Not Clothes”, and commonly boasts an edgy punk aesthetic with that ever-popular Harajuku flare.
